Wedding guest dress attire and colors?

Semi formal and spring pastels.

How big is the resort?

The resort is large and has four resorts in one. It is called Bahia Principe Hotels and Resorts. Within Bahia Principe there are four resorts, Bahia Principe Akumal (this is where everyone will be staying), Bahia Principe Tulum, Bahia Prinicipe Coba, and Bahia Principe Sian Ka'an.

Do you have access to all 4 resorts?

Yes! Staying at Bahia Principe Akumal allows you access to all the resorts, pools, restaurants and bars.

What’s included in the resort stay (meals, drinks, activities, etc.)?

Since this is an all-inclusive resort, almost everything is covered! You can look forward to unlimited food and drinks (yes, even cocktails 🍹), daily and nightly entertainment, a variety of restaurants and bars, access to the on-site disco and clubs, poolside service, morning aerobics, and so much more. The only additional costs you may incur are for optional excursions, spa treatments, or specialty upgrades. Get ready to relax and enjoy—everything else is taken care of!

What kind of room can I get?

You’ll have a variety of beautiful room options to choose from—whether you’d prefer a swim-up suite, an ocean view, oceanfront, or a peaceful garden view. There’s also the option to stay in the adults-only section for a more tranquil experience. To explore all the available accommodations and find the perfect fit, please connect with our amazing travel agent, Phil!

Absolutely! While a few pools are reserved for adults only, the majority of the resort is designed with families in mind. There are plenty of kid-friendly pools and several fun water play areas just for children—something for everyone to enjoy!

Can I invite other guests who have not been invited to the wedding?

Absolutely! You're more than welcome to bring guests. Just be sure to coordinate with our travel agent, Phil, to get everything arranged. Please note that while your guests are invited to enjoy the celebration, our intimate ceremony on Wednesday will be reserved for a smaller group. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all!

Will my cell phone work at the resort?

Most cell phones will work at the resort, but it’s highly recommended that you switch to an international or out-of-country plan through your provider before traveling to avoid unexpected roaming charges. The resort also has wifi readily available for free to all guests.

What are the dining options and dress code?

Bahia Principe offers a wide variety of delicious dining experiences, including several à la carte restaurants you can reserve in advance. To book your reservations, simply download the Bahia Principe app and reserve your spots up to 9 days prior to your arrival. We highly recommend making your reservations as early as possible, as these restaurants tend to fill up quickly! Please note that the à la carte restaurants do have a dress code: Men are expected to wear closed-toe shoes, and some restaurants require long pants and a collared or button-down shirt. Women should wear dressy attire appropriate for a nice evening out. For the buffet restaurants, no reservation is needed, and they offer fantastic options nightly. Just a heads-up—shirts or cover-ups over swimsuits are required while dining at the buffet.
